Whole Counter Mode

There are several New functions included in our Beauty-Teck Plus device. But We are going to discuss only the Whole Counter Mode below.  Below picture gives us pretty much an overview of Whole Counter Mode.

Main Features of Function

  • You can precisely and digitally control the timing of the arc.
  • The delivery of the exact amount of energy.
  • The most accurate energy delivering device for aesthetic purposes on the market.
  • The safest and most precise plasma device on the market.

Whole Counter

Whole Counter Mode is one of the most important function in the new Beautyteck Plus device. Nowadays, one of the problems with all the devices on the market is the lack of digital control of the arc duration.

Duration of the arc is one of the most important points in the use of Plasma devices for aesthetic purposes. Because the duration of the arc will have repercussions on the amount of energy you deliver onto the skin.

For example, If you actually place whatever arc amount, frequency, and power level onto the skin for long enough time, then the arc can actually go into the bone.

Moreover, if you have a very low power arcing device and you place the arc for long enough time,  for example, if you place the arc onto the skin for 20 seconds, arc will go into the bone for sure, but this is something that doesn’t normally happen.

So in our new device, you’re able to control to the milliseconds the amount of the arcing that you are going to deliver onto the skin. The whole counter function can really help you to precisely and digitally control the timing of the arc.

Why Whole Counter is important?

In simple words, Beauyteck Plus is the most accurate and safest energy delivering device in the market for aesthetic purposes. The reason is simple that you are not relying on your eyes or your hands and your judgment, instead, you are relying on a computer to count the duration of the arc.

With our Beauty-Teck Plus Device, you can set the exact time of the arcing and the most important thing is that the energy will be delivered onto the skin by a digitally controlled system.

Why we can’t rely on eyes or hands?

1. Human eyes are not able to count to the millisecond and also unable to see when the arc is ON or OFF. So, you are completely unable to count to the milliseconds and arc ON-OFF timing, but a computer does.

2. When you are delivering the arc onto the skin,  your hands may tremble or move and therefore you cannot do treatment precisely as the computer can.

3. The longer you are actually applying the arc, that means the more energy you are delivering onto the skin and in case of a short period of time, the less energy you are delivering onto the skin. So in both cases, you are unable to measure the arc’s working time duration, whereas a computer does.

So, in short, the computer can really help us to solve these above problems and we have made this function available in our new device.

How does the whole counter Work?

For example- the target time is set at 600 milliseconds in whole counter mode. We want the exact duration of the arc to be delivered for 600 milliseconds and then to shuts it off.  So what the whole counter does is, it keep the tip of the device ON and waits to detect an arc and, when it detects an electrical arc it starts counting. Most impotant thing is in whole counter, it stops counting when the arc is OFF.

Let’s say you have the arc, Which is ON for 200 milliseconds. In that 200 milliseconds, our hands may not very precise or you might move your hand unintentionally, then the arc will shut off and when the arc is OFF the counter stops counting. So the computer counts 200 milliseconds only.

So, There are still 400 milliseconds left to keep the arc ON and again you managed to get the arc ON for 50 milliseconds. Because of your hand may be trembling or due to other reason, arc again switched OFF  for 60 milliseconds.

Because of repeatedly ON and OFF Arc, the computer counts 200 + 50 + 60 which is 310 milliseconds. As because of the arc timing is set at 600 milliseconds, the TIP of the device will not shut off. It will wait for another 290 milliseconds to shut OFF. When you move your hand and you manage to get the arc ON again, If it is ON for 290 milliseconds the device will automatically shut off.

Online Tests

In order to have our training certification, you will have to pass our knowledge tests. It may take a while to go through them all questions. however, you may appreciate that there are a vast variety of treatments using our Beautyteck device. Because of this, it may take a while to absorb all the knowledge.

The tests have been designed to validate and consolidate your knowledge and you will be able to view the answers if you wish to do so.

What is Start Counter ?

The duration of the arc is very important. When we meant to use the devices for skin-tightening, therefore, the power level is very low. It is quite challenging to control the arc efficiently using your hands and eyes or the overall duration of the arc when we are working in the region of the milliseconds. So in order to resolve this problem, we have introduced two functions one is the Start Counter and the other is the Whole Counter.

The importance of the Start Counter is the same as the Whole Counter. But it is not advanced as the Whole Counter. Both are giving the option to control the duration of the Arc digitally because the duration of the Arc is extremely important for aesthetic purposes in plasma devices. This is the only first device so far, which is giving an option to operate in the milliseconds’ region. No other device allows you to do the same thing.

So with the Start Counter, we control the maximum duration of the arc, so we can also call it the max counter. When we control the maximum duration of the arc, so it basically increases the safety of the treatment.

Example – If you are doing eyelid tightening and you want to make sure the Arc doesn’t go more than to 600 milliseconds. Then you can set the start counter at 600 milliseconds and you will never go to cross the duration of the arc 600 milliseconds.

Importance of the Arc duration

The duration of the Arc is extremely important in the aesthetic treatments for skin-tightening. Moreover, it is important in the spot mode and spot operation.

The Arc duration is directly proportional to the amount of energy that you deliver onto the skin and which is extremely important. It is also proportional to the intensity of the treatment.

If you place the Arc onto the skin for a too long time, then it may damage onto the skin and, if it’s too little or short, then the outcome is not going to be the good as you want.

Note: You can set the maximum duration of the arc. So that means you can set it up from 30 to 500 milliseconds or whatever length you want.

The intensity of the treatment depends upon three parameters when we use the spot mode and spot operation.

1 The duration of the arc
2. Distance between the spots
3. Power level of the device that you are using

If you have a device that allows you to change the power of the device, then it is easy to control the power levels of the device. But one of the problems with all the devices on the market, is the lack of control the power levels. Fortunately, we have solved this problem, in the Beauty-teck plus device. There are several power levels in the beautyteck device and, moreover, you can easily control the spots distance.

The Duration of the arc is a parameter which is not very easy to control because so far, we can control the Arc by only using hands, eyes or button on the device. It is a bit challenging for the human to control the duration of the arc efficiently. In our device, we have solved this problem because, as we know the human eyes are unable to detect when the arc is OFF or ON. But, a computer can detect the arc, when it is OFF and ON, so in the Beauty-teck device, a computer counts the milliseconds of the Arc.

How start counter works?

If, the target time is set at 600 milliseconds in the Start Counter Mode. What the device does, it Switches ON the TIP of the Device and waits for the arc to take place. It does not start counting up until it detects the arc. When the arc is detected then it starts counting.

On the right-hand side graph, we set the device at 600 milliseconds. So when the arc is ON the computer Starts Counting immediately and keep the TIP of the device ON for exact 600 milliseconds. It doesn’t matter the Arc is ON for 10 milliseconds or 50 milliseconds or 590 milliseconds. It will keep the TIP-ON for 600 milliseconds. That’s really very important to understand this thing.

Difference between Whole Counter and Start Counter

Start Counter

  • Set the maximum time of the Arc.
  • In the start counter Soon as the arc to take place the start counter starts the counting the duration of the arc and its finishes exactly at 600ms. it does not matter how much the arc takes place for 5 milliseconds, 1m, 10mm.
  • So the Start counter gives you the option to make sure you have maximum time of the arc limit and the limit is digitally controlled.

Whole Counter

  • Set the Whole Time of the Arc.
  • In the whole counter what we do is actually counting the total time of arcing for example 600 milliseconds. The device will make sure that the arc duration in total 600 milliseconds it doesn’t matter the interval in between. When the arc is OFF it will still wait to the arc to take place (ON), whether the arc is OFF for 10, 20, 50 milliseconds. It up until counts overall 600 milliseconds.
  • The whole counter we call whole counter because it counts the whole time of arcing.

What is PULSE MODE ?

The main reason for introducing the PULSE mode is to allow you to use hot plasma, not cold plasma to do skin resurfacing. When you do skin resurfacing using hot plasma, the PULSE mode allows you to do Meso Therapeutic treatments. After you have done the skin resurfacing using PULSE mode, you can apply whatever product you like on the part of the skin that you have treated and,  the skin will be very susceptible to absorbing almost any kind of product. So Pulse Mode gives you an extra edge towards your clinic. The most important point is that you can use HOT Plasma to do skin resurfacing without anesthetics.

Why we don’t need any anesthetics, because we’re operating in very very short bursts of time, in the region of a few milliseconds between 50 to 200 millisecond. You can also operate the pulse more the higher rates, but than PULSE mode will not allow you to do skin resurfacing as we will show you in our video.

The Pulse mode is only possible because of the digital control of the arc duration because of the hands and human eyes not capable of controlling the arc duration as the computer can control. So it’s only possible because a computer is controlling the ON and OFF periods of the TIP of the device.

If, we just understand the little bit of the transitional periods of the ARC, What is it?

When you first time applies an arc onto the skin. It’s not as the arc reaches immediately to its higher power. It will require a bit of time to get the that power level and that bit of time is called the transient period. The growth of Transient goes very fast at the beginning then it reaches the plateau, which is the nominal power of the arc. An unusually 80 to 90% of the nominal power of the arc is achieved within the 200 milliseconds, it depends upon the frequency and other variables. So you can keep the 200 milliseconds as a benchmark for the moment for example.

Best Application of Beatyteck Plus Pulse Mode is skin resurfacing using hot plasma without the need for anesthetics.

If, you try the same thing with other devices that haven’t got this function. They’re not digitally controlled. This is interestingly too much painful in most of the cases. Resurfacing not only do skin resurfacing but also makes it easier for any substances to be absorbed by the skin.

How Pulse Mode Works

Try to Define the working of beautyteck Plus Pulse Mode in the right-hand graph. So basically in the user interface, we have 2 options one is Whole pulse and second one is Rate.

The Whole pulse is expressed in milliseconds, let’s assume that, a whole pulse of 1,000 milliseconds, which is equal to the one second and then the rates we are going to use is 1%. So basically 1% of the 1,000 milliseconds is equal to the 10 milliseconds.

That means when you start the device, the TIP is on for 1% of the Whole pulse time, which is around 10 milliseconds and it’s off for 990 milliseconds and, after 990 milliseconds, again it is ON for the 10 milliseconds, Then it’s off again because it’s reached the whole pulse time limit, which is 1,000 milliseconds so it’s off.

Then the process repeats itself over and over and over and over again. So,  OFF for the 990 milliseconds and it’s ON for the 10 milliseconds.

In the ON time what you will get? If you looked at what you will get on the output of the needle is the usual Sine wave at a certain frequency and certain voltage. ( Refer Right-hand Side Graph).

With our device, you are not able to change the voltage, but only you can change the frequency also.

In most of the devices, you can only change the voltage. you can have maybe 10 steps multi 10 voltage steps. But with our device, we can change an incredible amount of voltage steps and you can change the frequency as well. We’re going to give you the frequency ranges in other videos very important as well so you’ve got lots of variables to play with now to make sure that the concept is very very clear.

PLUS TRANSIENT PERIOD

When, We start the ARC what happens in the transition period? When we start the arc, it will not reach to its final value sharply due to transition Period under which the growth is exponential and, then after a few milliseconds, it goes to 80 to100% of its nominal value.

The same thing happens when we switch the ARC OFF. The arc will not switch OFF immediately. It will require a bit of time to switch off the arc. In that particular time,  arc value will continuously decreases.

So basically to give you an idea, we’re going to explain the right-hand graph. let’s say when  we switch ON the arc at (Fig 1 Point A), the arc quickly starts in the order of 10 to 20 milliseconds (Fig 1 Point A). Aftert 20-115 milliseconds , we reach into the valley which is only a fraction of the final value.

After continuously moving in the different region of milliseconds, at last, we will reach to almost maximum value approximately.

The same thing happens at the OFF time. In the OFF time, When we turn off the device, it will continue sparking for a little time in the region of  100 milliseconds or less. The arc doesn’t switch OFF straightaway. It will require a bit of time to switch off the arc. In that particular time,  arc value will continuously decreases.

PLUS TRANSIENT PERIOD ENGLISH

What is Cold Plasma and Transition?

The definition of hot plasma or cold plasma is dependant on the temperature at the carbonisiation point. In aesthetic treatments and medicine, the carbonisation point is where the electrical arc meets the surface of the skin or the soft tissue dehydrating it quickly into carbon.

Power Levels

First of all, we would like to run your through the basic circuit designed. In new Beautyteck device, we have some actually changed the design of the device. We have a completely different concept of delivering the very best plasma device todays. So what we have done has just changed the transformer. Right now we are using a very good step-up transformer. From the one side of the transformer, there is a Digital Entrance Input a SINE WAVE which is digitally created. Therefore we can change that digitally its voltage and frequency.

The Output we are going to get the same SINE WAVE but a  higher voltage and at the same frequency. So what we end up with is a device that’s got variable voltage and variable frequency.  Beauty tech Device the variable frequency goes throughout a very vast range now this is not trivial this is non-trivial at all.  Because no other device that is on the market at the moment has even got a variable frequency and certainly no other device is going to have for a long time the same range of frequencies that we have got.

Why Variable Frequency

The main purpose is because when you conveyed the frequency you can also vary the depth of ablation provided that the voltage is the same. So Higher the frequency the less degree of ablation and the lower the frequency the higher is the degree of ablation keeping the voltage and the arc duration the same and this is a very important function of the new device.

What is the frequency?

Many People actually confused the frequency with something else was the power level and some of the steps and many other things in order to make it clear to you. What we get at the output of our plasma device and most of the other plasma devices as well is a simple SINE WAVE and that is the case for almost all the plasma devices

AFTERCARE

Aftercare is more important than the aesthetic treatment itself. If the area treated is not kept clean, there is a potential risk of developing infections and this applies to any type of aesthetic treatments. Aftercare is usually far more important than the way the aesthetic treatment is carried out.

It is also important to avoid direct sun exposure of the area treated for at least 3 months. Total sun screen must be worn every day even if there is no direct sun exposure. Although the risks of hyperpigmentation are low they still exist and they usually occur due to excessive sun exposure too early even while using total sun screen.
