Patch Testing

Patch testing is essential to assess your skin’s reaction and train yourself in using the product correctly. Follow these steps before applying the gel to your upper eyelids:

Day 1

  • Apply a small amount of gel (no larger than 0.5 cm) below the chin and on the forearm.

  • Keep it on for 3 minutes, then wipe off with a clean makeup pad and rinse with water.

  • Monitor the area for 24 hours. If redness or irritation persists, do not continue use.

Day 2

  • Apply a tiny amount of gel on a different spot below the chin and forearm.

  • Leave it on for 10 minutes, then wipe off and rinse with water.

Day 3

  • Repeat the same process on another area for 15 minutes.

  • Observe the effects over the next few days.

Day 5

  • Apply a tiny amount of gel on one upper eyelid.

  • Keep it on for 5 minutes, wipe off, and rinse with water. Avoid contact with eyes.

Day 6

  • Apply a tiny amount on the other upper eyelid for 10 minutes.

  • Observe the peeling effects over the next few days.

Day 8

  • Apply the gel on the entire uppereyelid that was treated on Day 5.

  • Keep it on for 15 minutes, then wipe off and rinse.

Day 9

  • Apply the gel on the eyelid that was treated on Day 6 (if no ongoing scabbing or redness).

  • Keep it on for 20 minutes, then wipe off and rinse.

  • Observe the effects, including potential swelling or scabbing.

Full Application Process

  1. Wash hands thoroughly.

  2. Cleanse and dry the upper eyelid area.

  3. Apply a thin layer of gel carefully on the upper eyelid.

  4. Keep the gel on for the desired time based on your tolerance level:

    • Shorter duration = milder peeling, more applications needed.

    • Longer duration = stronger peeling, fewer applications needed.

  5. Wipe off the gel using a clean makeup pad and rinse with warm water.

Healing and Aftercare

Warning: Possible Side Effects

Improper use of the product or incorrect aftercare may result in:

  • Temporary swelling, discomfort, or pain.

  • Scarring due to misuse.

  • Hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation.

  • Infection or delayed healing if aftercare is not followed properly.

Final Notes

  • The intensity of the treatment depends on how long you leave the gel on.

  • The longer you keep it on, the fewer applications you will need, but swelling and scabbing will be more severe.

  • Avoid all contact with eyes.

  • Plan ahead, as the peeling/scabbing may last 7-10 days.
