Short-Form Upload Rule (To Avoid Cannibalization)

If two shorts from the same interview are published on the same day on the same platform, they compete with each other and reduce performance. This is called cannibalization.

Therefore, the rule is:

👉 Only ONE short from the same interview may be published per day, per platform.

How Uploading Works (Easy Example)

Interview A

  • Total shorts + trailers: 18

  • Upload rule: 1 short per day

  • Result:

    • Interview A will be uploaded over 18 days

    • Never upload two Interview A shorts on the same day

Interview B

  • Total shorts + trailers: 20

  • Upload rule: 1 short per day

  • Result:

    • Interview B will be uploaded over 20 days

    • Never upload two Interview B shorts on the same day

Multiple Interviews (A, B, C)

If you have interviews:

  • A → 18 shorts

  • B → 20 shorts

  • C → 15 shorts

Each interview is scheduled independently:

  • Interview A: 1 short per day for 18 days

  • Interview B: 1 short per day for 20 days

  • Interview C: 1 short per day for 15 days

🚫 At no point should two shorts from the same interview go out on the same day.

One-Line Rule (For Schedulers)

One interview = one short per day. Never two from the same interview on the same day.
