This workflow is deliberate and highly effective, and it must be followed exactly. Publishing short videos and trailers first, then waiting one to two weeks before publishing the full individual interviews and the full Master Video for that day, is a very good way of doing this. The delay is intentional: it allows the audience time to forget the specific shorts they have already seen, so when the long-form content is finally published, it feels fresh rather than repetitive. It is essential that all full interviews and the full-day Master Video are published on every platform that supports long-form content, but only after this cooling-off period. This approach maximises attention, avoids fatigue, and ensures long-form videos benefit from both pre-tested hooks and renewed audience interest.

Posting & Publishing Manual – Shorts First, Longs Later

1. Short Videos: Posting Rules (Mandatory)

Short videos are always published before any long-form content.
On any given day, shorts must be mixed and must not come from the same interview.

Daily short-posting rule:

  • Each short published on the same day must come from a different interview

  • Never post multiple shorts from the same interview on the same day

  • This avoids audience fatigue and prevents algorithm suppression

Shorts are published continuously over time to:

  • Test performance

  • Identify which interviews and hooks resonate most

  • Collect real engagement data

2. Trailers: Testing Phase

Trailers for individual interviews and for the Master Video are also published during this phase.

  • Trailers are published alongside shorts

  • Their performance (views, retention, engagement) is tracked

  • No long-form video is published yet

This phase typically lasts 1–2 weeks.

3. Publishing Individual Interviews (Long-Form)

Only after 1–2 weeks of short and trailer testing do we publish the full individual interviews.

Before publishing each interview:

  • Select the best-performing trailer for that interview

  • If appropriate, also select the best-performing short

  • Attach these pre-tested hooks at the beginning of the interview

At this point, interviews are published only on platforms that support long-form content.

4. Publishing the Full Master Video (Very Important)

The full-day Master Video is published last.

Timing:

  • Publish the Master Video 1–2 weeks after the individual interviews

  • This ensures enough performance data is available

Before publishing the Master Video:

  • Select the top-performing trailers from the day

  • Select the best-performing shorts if appropriate

  • Place these at the beginning as the intro sequence

Only once the strongest hooks are confirmed do we publish the Master Video on platforms that support long-form content.

5. Core Principle (Do Not Break)

We never guess hooks.

The order is always:

  1. Publish shorts and trailers first (testing)

  2. Measure performance

  3. Select the best-performing hooks

  4. Publish interviews with proven intros

  5. Publish the Master Video with the strongest possible opening

This workflow ensures every long-form video launches with data-backed, proven hooks, not assumptions.
