Overview
This guide explains how to safely use XanthRemover High-Grade Glycolic Acid Gel to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet (fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes). Crow’s feet are often one of the first visible signs of ageing due to the delicate, thin skin in this area. Proper exfoliation and controlled peeling can encourage skin renewal, leading to smoother, tighter skin.
Important: Extra caution is required when treating the eye area with High Grade Glycolic acid products. Follow all safety protocols precisely to avoid injury.
Safety Warnings
Avoid direct contact with the eyes.
Do not apply the gel too close to the lash line or the waterline.
Always perform a patch test before treating sensitive areas like around the eyes.
Improper use can cause irritation, burns, scarring, or pigmentation issues.
Mandatory Patch Tests for Crow’s Feet Attenuation
The patch tests are required to ensure your skin’s compatibility with XanthRemover and to understand its effects on the delicate crow’s feet area before full application.
Day One:
Apply a tiny amount of gel on the upper outer cheekbone area, at least 1 cm away from the eyes (not directly on the crow’s feet).
The area should not exceed 0.5 cm².
Keep the gel on for 10 minutes maximum.
Wipe off with a clean cotton pad and rinse with water.
Day Two:
Apply a tiny amount of gel on a different spot on the upper outer cheekbone, again at least 1 cm away from the eyes.
Keep the gel on for 15 minutes maximum.
Wipe off and rinse with water.
✅ These early patch tests help ensure there is no adverse reaction and allow you to observe the peeling response.
Wait for Two Days:
Monitor for any redness, irritation, or unusual peeling before proceeding further.
Day Five:
Apply a tiny amount of gel on a small section just outside the crow’s feet area (still maintaining 5 mm distance from the eye).
Keep the gel on for 15 minutes maximum.
Wipe off and rinse with water carefully.
Day Six:
Apply a tiny amount of gel on a different small section near the crow’s feet.
Keep the gel on for 20 minutes maximum.
Wipe off and rinse with water.
Day Seven:
Apply a tiny amount of gel on another section near the crow’s feet.
Keep the gel on for 30 minutes maximum.
Wipe off and rinse with water.
✅ Carefully observe the skin over the next few days.
❗ If there is any irritation, swelling, or unusual peeling, discontinue use.
Day Eleven:
By now, you should clearly understand how your skin reacts.
Apply the gel to a new untreated small area close to the crow’s feet, maintaining a 5 mm distance from the eye.
Keep the gel on for up to 1 hour maximum if you deem it appropriate.
Wipe off and rinse with water.
Important Safety Notes
Avoid contact of the XanthRemover with the eyes, in case of contact with the eyes rinse immediately with cold running water.
Stop use immediately if any strong irritation or unusual reaction occurs.
