Your safety is our top priority. Please take a few minutes to review these fire safety guidelines to ensure a safe living environment.


1. Fire Prevention

Preventing fires is the first step in fire safety. Follow these simple rules to reduce the risk:

Cooking Safety

  • Never leave cooking unattended.

  • Keep flammable items like paper towels and cloths away from the stove.

  • If a pan catches fire, turn off the heat and cover it with a fire blanket – do not use water.

Electrical Safety

  • Do not overload electrical sockets.

  • Avoid using damaged or frayed cables.

  • Unplug appliances when not in use.

Smoking & Candles

  • Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited.

  • Use flameless candles instead of real ones.

Heating Devices

  • Heating device or heaters not allowed in the property


2. Fire Safety Equipment

We have provided fire safety equipment for your protection. Please ensure you know how to use them:

Fire Blankets

  • Located in the kitchen.

  • Use to smother small fires, especially grease fires.


3. Emergency Escape Plan

In case of fire, follow these steps to evacuate safely:

Exit Routes

  • Main Door & Back Door: These are your primary escape routes. Ensure they are always clear of obstructions.

What to Do in a Fire

  1. Stay calm and act quickly.

  2. If there is smoke, stay low to the ground.

  3. Do not attempt to fight a large fire – leave immediately.

  4. Never use a lift if applicable – always take the stairs.

  5. Call 999 once you are safely outside.

  6. Do not stop to collect personal belongings

Assembly Point

  • Once outside, meet at Out Side Of The Property and do not re-enter the building until it is declared safe.
