Existing drawing of the building

The exisitng building can be considered a blank canvass inside. However, there are structural constraints which have to be taken into consideration when making the internal drawings of the windows and the internal future layout. The main constraints are the pillars supporting the large Rolled Steel Joists (RSJ) on the ground floor and on the first floor. Also, the dimensions of the already existing windows are shown below. The existing windows dimensions have to be drawn in the cad system to show whether they are large enough to provide enough natural light to the habitable rooms.

At the very bottom of the page you will find more detailed measurements of the extension footprint.

The following video shows you the existing pillars and the RSJs on the ground floor ceilings. The new windows need to be placed between the pillars fo course.
